Shiloh Children Home was started with a vision to educate the illiterate children of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It's purpose is also to nurture and establish the children in the ways of the Lord. In future they would be missionaries to their communities and also serve to uplift their poor societies. In the past years, children from the Karin tribe and the Nicobari tribe have been part of our Home. They were provided with good education and taught truths from the word of God. Most of all they had many opportunities to display their singing and dancing skills for the Glory of our God. |

NICOBARI CHILDREN
|
Not only that during the Tsunami of 2004 Shiloh took in around 30 Nicobari children who had lost their loved ones providing spiritual and natural care for them
God healed many of these children from the painful memories and the trauma of those tragic events.
The spiritual seeds sown in these children remain even today.
Through the years some of these children have developed a desire for the things of God.
Most of all, to live pleasing to Him and to serve Him in any way possible.
Some of them are studying to be doctors and engineers, others in various degree courses.
|
At the present children from Andaman, Orissa and Mahdya Pradesh stay with us.
A few of them are from the Ranchi tribe in Andamans. Nine of them are from the Nicobari tribes living in Katchal. In Orissa they are from the Ho, Sental and the Munda tribes.
These children are from the most illiterate tribes in India. They are amongst the poorest of the poor. After coming to the Home they have developed a desire to learn and are doing well in their studies. Do pray for our children and their overseers.
